Peanut Allergies

Peanut allergies are so common these days, it seems that there is at least 2 or 3 kids in each class at school with a nut allergy of some sort. I am lucky that neither one of my kids have a nut allergy but I think everyone should be aware of them. I do think it’s crazy the airlines still serve peanuts on airplanes. Some people’s nut allergies are airborne and that makes flying dangerous. I was reading about peanut allergies and found a list of common household items that may have peanut shells in them.

Everyday Items that May Contain Peanuts or Peanut Shells

Animal Bedding
Ant and Mouse Traps
Beanbags
Bird Seed
Cosmetics
Dog Food
Draft Dodgers
Hamster Food
Hay Rides or Visits to Farms
Stuffed Animals
Toys from Thrift Stores or Garage Sales

This list actually surprises me. If there other things you know of feel free to let me know and I will list them.
