Book Review of : More Smoothies For Life by Daniella Chace

I purchased More Smoothies For Life by Daniella Chace on Amazon recently. I have been looking over the recipes in the book and found them to be pretty simple. I like that the author put them in sections like wellness, fat burners, brain boosters, detoxifiers, sleep enhancers, children and infants, etc.. I found a good one using green tea that I am going to try. She has a lot of useful information on what certain ingredients can do for you. The book is very detailed, she didnโ€™t miss putting any information in. The book is very easy to use and understand. I would highly recommend it. I like that the ingredients she has down are not hard to get things. The book is available on Amazon

Healthy Smoothie Recipes Kids Will Love

These are all recipes I have used. I usually use smoothies to sneak in things like flax seed oil into my kids diet without hearing them complain. Enjoy!

Banana Smoothie

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup nonfat organic yogurt
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup blueberries, washed
a 1/2 teaspoon of honey

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serves 1. When you have too many bananas on hand you can throw them in the freezer to use at a later date for smoothies.

Strawberry Smoothie

1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of apple juice
1/2 teaspoon of honey

Blend until smooth

Berry Smoothie

1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 of Apple juice
and a little honey (of course)

Blend until smooth. A little more apple juice can be used to adjust the thickness
