Book Review of : More Smoothies For Life by Daniella Chace

I purchased More Smoothies For Life by Daniella Chace on Amazon recently. I have been looking over the recipes in the book and found them to be pretty simple. I like that the author put them in sections like wellness, fat burners, brain boosters, detoxifiers, sleep enhancers, children and infants, etc.. I found a good one using green tea that I am going to try. She has a lot of useful information on what certain ingredients can do for you. The book is very detailed, she didn’t miss putting any information in. The book is very easy to use and understand. I would highly recommend it. I like that the ingredients she has down are not hard to get things. The book is available on Amazon

Healthy Smoothie Recipes Kids Will Love

These are all recipes I have used. I usually use smoothies to sneak in things like flax seed oil into my kids diet without hearing them complain. Enjoy!

Banana Smoothie

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup nonfat organic yogurt
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup blueberries, washed
a 1/2 teaspoon of honey

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serves 1. When you have too many bananas on hand you can throw them in the freezer to use at a later date for smoothies.

Strawberry Smoothie

1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of apple juice
1/2 teaspoon of honey

Blend until smooth

Berry Smoothie

1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 of Apple juice
and a little honey (of course)

Blend until smooth. A little more apple juice can be used to adjust the thickness
